Colux has been engaged by an independent trading firm that’s focused on DeFi markets and is seeking team members who are passionate about crypto and the growth of DeFi. They are currently looking for a Rust Engineer to join their founding team of a new trading unit.

Responsibilities

• The senior software engineer will be responsible for building and supporting the functionality of a diverse technology stack to enable on-chain trading strategies.
• Candidates with appropriate quantitative backgrounds will be responsible for building software solutions to enable the identification and capture of on-chain opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have experience in

Designing and developing full-stack software systems, including trading systems, platform connectivity solutions, and monitoring systems.

Candidates should be proficient in Rust but, also have knowledge in:

• C++
• Algorithmic Trading
• Low-Latency
• Low-Level Trading System

The successful candidate will collaborate with traders, researchers, and software engineers within

their group, as well as elsewhere within the organization.

• They should have experience designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical, high-performance applications.
• Professional experience in crypto, especially DeFi, is desirable, as well as 10+ years of professional script development experience, preferably in Python, JavaScript/Typescript. Numeracy is also relevant for candidates interested in the potential quantitative aspects of the role (e.g., writing strategy code).
