Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of graphics engineers to:

• Create innovative graphics features in a pre-existing game engine
• Expand the game engine’s graphics feature set to accommodate gameplay features
• Work in tandem with content creators to design next-generation visuals
• Provide technical guidance on graphics-related issues and topics

Key Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of contemporary graphics APIs and rendering pipelines
• Proven leadership experience with a team of engineers in a professional setting
• Demonstrated proficiency with Unreal Engine
• Demonstrated proficiency with C++ programming
• The ability to critically evaluate visual and rendering quality issues
• Proven experience developing for consoles
• Strong familiarity with debugging and profiling tools across multiple platforms
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• At least one released game title

Our client strongly prefers candidates who are open to relocating to Hunt Valley, Maryland, but they are also open to considering remote candidates.
