Job Title: Blockchain Operations Developer – Chicago

Base Salary: 250’000 USD
Total Compensation: 500’000 USD 

Our client is looking for a Blockchain Operations Developer to join their Trading Infrastructure team, responsible for operational tools that manage a wide range of crypto assets as well as traditional instruments. They are seeking an engineer who is passionate about DeFi projects and has a strong interest in Node codebases.

The core of their system is written in Clojure while interfacing with JavaScript microservices for interacting with blockchains and crypto asset libraries. They are looking for someone who can work in an environment where technologists are free to pursue solutions to business problems with excellent technical resources.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Node-related development experience
• Experience reading Solidity/Vyper and using ABI files
• Familiarity with common Solidity libraries and protocols (e.g. OpenZeppelin, Gnosis, Chainlink)
• Experience or interest in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience or interest in Clojure
• Experience testing in Hardhat, Truffle, or similar framework

Desirable skills:

• Strong knowledge of chain roadmaps and upcoming chain projects
• Open-source contributions or side projects
• A wallet address (or ENS name) with a history of work on the blockchain
• Experience or interest in finance
• Experience with Node.js.
